Requesting Reservations

Requests for reservations must be made as early as possible. Holiday vacations and summer weekends are peak times. By reserving early, you have a better chance of staying at the property of your choice. You must check-in at the property by 4 pm, and check-out by 10 am. Guests may stay at the property in Branson, Desert Oasis, or Welk Escondido for three nights.

Making Payments

Only members with good standing status may take advantage of upgrades. Four timely payments are necessary for a member to make a reservation. If you use any of your allocated points for a timeshare upgrade, you must pay all applicable fees for maintenance in advance.

Timeshare Restrictions

Members with upgrades are limited to one Saturday night stay at the property of their choice. Once the reservations are made, members may not cancel or make changes to the reservation. When a reservation is confirmed, the member must stay on the specified dates within 12 months after an upgrade is requested.

Guest Stays

The owner must be the person to use the timeshare. The upgrade can’t be transferred to family members or friends. However, up to 6 guests including the owner may stay on the property.

Using Platinum Points

Each member of Welk Resorts is allocated Platinum Points. Each year a reservation must be made for the current year or a future date. One of the best features of the Platinum Point system is that you are allowed to use your points for an upgrade. The way it works is that you may borrow points for a year in the future to use for your upgrade.
